About the Accommodation

Important Notice

We are currently expanding our site with the addition of 3 new hillside lodges. The build of the lodges is now complete, but some landscaping work will take place throughout May, from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. While we do not expect significant disturbance, there will be some noise at times. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Scroll down for availability.

If we don't have what you are after, please email us as we might have alternative options - holidays@viaductfishery.com

This gorgeous lodge has picture-perfect lakeside views and makes for an amazing break, whether you are a keen angler or just love being beside nature. Decorated in a traditional log cabin style, they have all the mod-cons you could need, including gas central heating and double glazing. This lodge has 3 twin bedrooms which are comfortably furnished and 2 bathrooms with walk in showers. The well-equipped kitchen areas each have a dishwasher and large fridge/freezer, while the living and dining areas are perfect for relaxing after a day on the nearby lakes or exploring the surrounding areas.

Free fishing (excluding match fishing) is included in your stay, with 2 private pegs right outside your lodge, plus access to 5 of our lakes. We stock carp ranging up to 27lb but have a mixture of lakes with smaller carp, plus tench, perch, bream, skimmers, roach, rudd & F1's, we have something to suit everybody. We have a convenient onsite tackle shop which is open 7 days a week which covers all ranges of tackle and baits.

Fishing is dawn-dusk only, no night fishing. An EA rod licence is required to fish for people over the age of 16 which can be purchased from the GOV website.

Head over to www.viaductfishery.com for further details on our fishery.

Disabled Access

Unfortunately, none of our lodges can be classed as fully disabled friendly. Please see below for the details on the two lodge options that we have here at Viaduct.

Hillside Lodges: Our Hillside Lodges offer some accessibility features, but please note they are not fully adapted for wheelchair users. Each lodge has a minimum doorway width of 826mm. The lodges are accessed via a gravel slope, which will be difficult for wheelchairs. The closest fishing pegs are around 80m away from the lodge.

Lakeside Lodges: Our Lakeside Lodges offer the added benefit of private fishing pegs right outside the lodge, providing convenient access to fishing. However, the doorway width is narrower at 600mm, which may not meet full accessibility standards for wheelchair users. Most have level access to the lodge, but some of our lakeside lodges have steps so always best to get in touch to check which lodge is best suited to you.

All Lodges are equipped with walk-in showers for added convenience. However, they do not have fully adapted wet rooms, grab rails, or additional mobility aids in the bathrooms.

πŸš— Parking & Access: Parking is available directly outside each lodge, but some access involves a gravel area/slope that may be challenging for push wheelchairs. Our staff are always happy to help with luggage and checking in.

🎣 Fishing Access: The pegs are made of wood, and some have a step down to them, depending on the bank. The surrounding terrain is grass and gravel, and accessibility varies across the site.

Please speak so us before booking so we can make sure we meet your needs.
